Our Practices
Lordship of Christ in Living
Christ is Lord, not only of the church, but also of our lives. We practice this principle in the life of our church. He is Lord over our:
1 Lives, Families and Relationships
2 Friendships and Jobs
3 Occupations, Vocations and Decisions
4 Directions and Finances
"Either Jesus is Lord over all, or He is not Lord at all".
Evangelism
We practice telling people about the Good News of Jesus Christ as Savior in every walk of life. We begin by telling those, with whom we live, then our relatives, associates and neighbors. We practice speaking to others about Jesus as Savior and their need for Him in their lives.
Faithful in Prayer
We practice the Power of Prayer, the Purpose of Prayer and the Privilege of Prayer. History was recorded that:
1 The Power of Prayer, has opened the Red Sea, closed the mouths of lions, quenched flames and set the captives free.
2 The Purpose of Prayer is to seek God's will on earth. When we pray, God's intents and purposes shall be done.
3 The Privilege of Prayer, Jesus says to ask and it shall be given, seek and we shall find, knock and the door will be opened.
Christ Centered
We are unapologetically Christ-centered and Word-oriented. We practice the study of The Word and offer Bible studies for all ages.
Tithes and Offerings
Not equal in gifts, but equal in sacrifice. We believe in lawful giving and liberal giving. The primary reason we give is because God commands it. The place to give is the church, the portion of the gift is 10% of our earnings, and the purpose of the gift is that the needs of the ministry may be met. God gave His only son so we might live forever. Giving our money to God for ministry is our way of saying, "Thank you Lord for what you have done for us."
